The Hithub GrooveDisc Remastered Blues Anthology 3CD Digipak presents sixty recordings drawn from the complete spectrum of American blues tradition — Delta, Chicago electric, Texas, Piedmont, and West Coast styles — remastered from original 78 RPM shellac records and early magnetic tape sources through a proprietary noise reduction and restoration process that removes surface noise, needle drop transients, and shellac resonance artifacts from pre-war recordings while preserving the authentic tonal character of period microphones, amplifiers, and acoustic studio spaces that distinguish these recordings as irreplaceable historical documents. The restoration process for the shellac-sourced tracks applies a custom spectral repair algorithm trained on a database of 1,200 catalogued shellac surface noise signatures from six major record labels’ 78 RPM output between 1920 and 1950, enabling the algorithm to distinguish between authentic musical transients and shellac-induced artifacts with an accuracy rate of 97 percent, as validated by double-blind listening tests with expert listeners. The three discs are housed in a four-panel digipak in 3 mm greyboard laminated with 150 gsm coated stock, printed in five-color offset with aqueous flood coating. A 64-page companion booklet reproduces period photography and original 78 RPM label artwork alongside newly commissioned historical essays. Three CDs total 210 minutes of music.
